Dual Wall Heat Shrink Tubing is used when an extra layer of protection against moisture is needed. It will help to prevent water, chemical and fluids from eroding connections. It is made up of two different layers, the outer layer is a polyolefin heat shrink and the inside layer is made up from adhesive that will melt and flow when heated. It can bond with many different types of materials completely encapsulating the wiring or cable components to create a moisture resistant seal. This provides better results for the user during assembly. After the adhesive has cooled down, it becomes an environmental seal, protecting wires or cables from moisture and the environment.

Heat-shrinkable tubing or heat shrink, is a shrinkable plastic tube used to insulate wires, providing abrasion resistance and environmental protection for wire conductors, connections, joints and terminals. It can also be used to repair the insulation on wires or to bundle them together, offering environmental sealing protection. Heat-shrink tubing is ordinarily made of polyolefin, which shrinks radially (but not longitudinally) when heated using a heat gun or lighter, to one-half of its diameter. Available in 1-metre packets in standard Red and Black colours in all sizes and selected sizes in White and Blue. 3, 5, 8, 10, 15, 20 & 25mm diameter.

Solder splice terminators combine all the advantages of heat shrink, low-melt solder and waterproofing protection glands – creating a fast, waterproof, electrically reliable and fully insulated connection without the use of a soldering iron, crimping tool or solder. To use match the sire width to the tube, strip the two wires to the width of the solder in the tube, slide the tube over one of the pieces of wire, push the two wires together so that they intertwine with each other. Slide the tube back over it until centred and heat it until the solder has melted and the heat shrink has encapsulated the wiring, making a strong reliable connection.

Heat-shrinkable tubing or heat shrink, is a shrinkable plastic tube commonly used to insulate electric wires. Our non slip heat shrinkable tubing is manufactured from an irradiation cross-linked polymer alloy, followed by a special surface treatment giving increased friction and anti-slip (skid proof) properties. The 2:1 shrinkage ratio reduces radially but not laterally when heated to provide a tight covering over irregular shapes. Applications Include: Fishing Rod Butts, Sport & Canoe Paddle Handles. Available in Red, Blue and Black in 25, 35 and 45mm in 1 metre lengths.
